GBI Crime Lab Class of 2008 Internal Auditors

Congratulations to the GBI Division of Forensic Sciences' newest internal auditors.  These employees recently completed ISO 17025 internal auditor training and are a welcome addition to the GBI Crime Lab Auditor Team. 

Internal auditors are an essential part of the DOFS Quality System.  Each discipline within each lab is audited annually by internal auditors to ensure continued compliance with requirements of the DOFS Quality Manual and the ISO/IEC 17025: 2005 standard.  These auditors dedicate time away from their casework and other laboratory responsibilities in order to prepare for and conduct thorough audits.
