Implied Consent General Information
The Implied Consent Section administers all Intoxilyzer 5000 training. Students must sucessfully complete the Basic Operator Training Course to receive a permit to conduct breath tests in the state of Georgia and must recertify within 6 months of expiration. Click here for more details.
Intoxilyzer 5000 Basic Class Information
Students attending this course will receive training on the theory and application of breath alcohol testing utilizing the Intoxilizer 5000. Upon successful completion of this course, the participant will be certified to perform evidential breath-alcohol tests. Intoxilyzer 5000 Recertification Class Information
Refresher Classes are held once a month at the GPSTC in Forsyth and once a quarter in each of the GPSTC regional academies.
