Lab Locations

The lab has 8 locations strategically located throughout Georgia to provide forensic services to regional local criminal justice agencies. All services are performed at the Headquarters location.

Note:

Bodies are accepted only from those counties served by lab locations with a Medical Examiner facility. The crime lab does not transport bodies.
For services not offered at a specific location, the crime lab will transfer the evidence to another DOFS laboratory where the service is performed.
Evidence received at one laboratory may be transferred to another laboratory in the crime lab system in order to expedite analysis.
